Lets talk more about pop-up books!

A pop up book is like a three-dimensional or movable book, often term as movable book that covers pop-ups, transformations, tunnel book, volvelles, flaps, pull tabs, pop-outs, pull-downs and more. Since 1811 till today.

History of the pop up book.
The audience for early movable books were adults, not children. The catalan mystic and poet Ramon Llull of Majorca, used a revolving disc or volvelle to illustrate his theories. Throughout the centuries, volvelles have been used for such diverse purposes as teaching anatomy, making astronomical predictions, creating secret code and telling fortunes. While it can be documented that books with movable parts had been used for centuries, they were almost always used in scholarly works. It was not until the 18th century that these techniques were applied to books designed for entertainment, particularly for children.

Self thought:

The reason why I wanted to make a pop up book is because my creativity relies greatly on my imagination and I love fantasies which ease my mind away from the harsh reality.
