Why is my pop up book special?

I was posted a question after my presentation on tuesday.

“Why is my pop up book special? What makes it different from the rest?”

Well, I’ve tried researching on the current kinds of pop up books and have realised that most of them were quite plain and not all are really movable. Even those that have been published like the ones I’ve seen in borders. They were just pop ups of vibrant images but they were lacking some kind of interaction with the children. These pop up books didn’t allow the children to sort of interact with the book by using some movable techniques like pull tabs, pop-outs, pull-downs and transformations that will enhance the whole pop up book. Therefore, I’m intending to do so for my pop up book, whereby there will be a few elements of these technique appearing in the book, allowing children to interact with my book and not just being amazed by the popping up graphics.
